Special Election

Dear WCCHS Community,

We will be taking nominations for candidates at the February 14, 2012 Community Meeting, and the nomination period shall remain open until February 10, 2012 for the following Board positions:

If you are interested in any of these positions, you can be nominated or nominate yourself. Please fill out the linked Questions for Board Candidates. Completed questionnaires are due back in the School Office by the end of the school day, February 10, 2012. The completed questionnaires will be available to the community on February 14.

SAT Testing

11th graders should be taking the SAT this year. We have prep books available, please contact your student's homeroom teacher if you want to participate.

Here is the schedule for January through June 2012:

Jan 28 - register by Jan 13
Mar 10 - register by Feb 10
May 5 - register by April 6
June 2 - register by May 8

Fees = $ 49.00

Fundraising so far: $6983.13

WCCHS Student on Stage

If you want a nice night out with your family, please check out The African-American Shakespeare Company. They are performing Cinderella right now at 762 Fulton Street in San Francisco. They have many shows available at affordable prices, with buffet food in the lobby, and, best of all, one of our own students in the cast. Click the link for more details. I went to the show Friday night, and loved it.
