Acoustic Guitars

The acoustic guitar, the senior of the guitar family is also the most simple being that is needs no clunky auxiliary amplification. It operates solely on the principle of acoustic methods to project the sound produced by its strings. The technical term for said method of amplification is called a retronym.
You may think that there are only three types of guitars, but it's not always so black and white. There are some mixed breeds, such as: the resonator(see fig.1), the twelve string(see fig.2), and of course, the acoustic bass(see fig.3). The resonator contributes a specific sound with its resonating drum that can only be recreated using mutiple filters and switches. The twelve string is an acoustic guitar with 12 strings in 6 courses, which produces a richer, more ringing tone than a standard six-string guitar.
